The GDMB is a german based, european oriented and globally interested non-profit organisation. It has the aim of combining science with practical experience in the fields of mining, rock engineering, tunnelling, mineral processing, extraction, refining and application of metals, with particular emphasis on associated environmental issues and economic performance. The GDMB draws on the experience, know how and interests of its worldwide membership in order to remain a vibrant and up-to-date society, attractive to professionals from industry and members from the academic community.
